years and don't really miss it because there are many other sports to
keep me busy.
I had some lessons in the past and consider myself average, I wonder if
playing a few games with beginners will spark my interest again (the
couple people I know who live nearby and play tennis are both
beginners). But then I don't want to play anyone I hardly know and
embarrass myself after the two-year hiatus.
It's too bad I stopped playing. I had just re-strung my racket shortly
before my last practice and my tennis coach said I had good potential
if I practiced more.

money.
Tennis is a dummy sport. Just some guys poach the balls back and forth. What
is fun? If I have money, I will just hire Roger and Rafa to play on my
court every week. And I just watch.

My point is that you should make your own judgement on what he said. I am
pretty sure that every coach will say that you will improve a lot if you
attend more tennis class.

which I paid nothing (had tuition waiver for being an RA). It wasn't a
commercial setting and I think he was being sincere.

to finish one match, i'd rather play best of 5, 11 points
tie-breaks to decide one match, and play 5-7 guys in a row... |
