On the other hand, the housing price is very reasonable. You can buy a
relatively new house with one of the best elementary school here (Farragut?)
for around 200k.

Not sure if there are many Chinese there. I have a friend (white, American)
who married her husband (white, originally from South Africa) for more than
ten years now.But the neighbors still call him "the foreigner."

BTW, we have 4-year and 6-year old boys, I am very good at cooking.

There is another neighborhood near UT called Sequoia Hills. It has huge old
houses with a lot of character. It is really beautiful. It has one of the
best elementary schools as well. But not many Chinese live there. I believe
Farragut is more popular among Chinese, which has newer houses.

given that I don't own a house there and I don't have a child. lol
I think Farragut is as asia friendly as it gets in Knoxville and 350k can
get you a huge house.

的来说Knoxville没什么traffic。你如果买到northshore附近，从I140 5号口到机场也
就8、9miles，不知道到你单位多远。
Marryville好像日本人很多，不过我有个前同事（不是中国人）去那儿开过房子，不喜
欢。你可以自己去看看有个印象。如果在Knoxville买，可以买Northshore或Westland
靠近I140的地方。

We are looking a neighborhood with public swimming pool/swimmint team for

swimming team for summer in Farragus? How about community tennis courts? I
don’t mind to pay HOA to live in that kind of area.
