its force by up to 25,000 Airmen over the next five years.
According to information from officials at Joint Base Langley–Eustis, the
633rd Force Support Squadron Personnel Section held briefings at the base
Jan. 14 in order to prepare Airmen for management programs.
Among the management programs is the enlisted retention program and enlisted
quality force review boards, officer force shaping board, enhanced
selective early retirement boards, a reduction in force board and office and
enlisted voluntary separation pay incentives for Airmen in non-critical,
overage specialties. Eligibility requirements will vary.
Before meeting retention boards, Airmen are asked to ensure records in the
Personnel Records Display Application are up to date.
“It is critical Airmen take the time to ensure their information is
accurate or not missing any critical documentation,” said Lt. Col. Carol
Gordon, Air Force Personnel Center Operations Support Division chief. |
