not exactly, still losts of ppl play MH series, but of course not as many as play stupid shooting games.
the selling of MH2 MH2G (MHFU) in US is still very good (capcom doesn't care much, cause the asian
selling is much over their estimate)
MHP3 beat every other PSP games in the selling history, and gain capcom lots of money (even balance the
loss of capcom's failure in other games like lost planet) |

人和日本人生活单调，除了宅还是宅（不管在国内国外都是），所以研究这么复杂的游
戏觉得有意思，也有精力。美国这边生活节奏快，生活丰富多彩，玩游戏玩的就是刺激
，没工夫为了一个不够那么刺激的游戏这么折腾，所以就没人喜欢了，当然MH在美国这
边销量也不错的话（没有数据，不知道这个不错到底是多少？halo reach的零头？），
很可能是亚裔以及这边很宅的小孩儿带起来的，我要年轻20年，肯定也喜欢MH这种游戏

after school. they go home and smack folding chairs at each other's
heads (aka wrestling).
it's the attention deficit of the stupid american kids. if they don't
reach max level, kill everyone, or blow something up 5 mins into a game
they'll quit.
look at the difference of japanese and american cartoons. in japanese
cartoons you can have a guy stand there for half an hour (dragon ball),
or dibble the ball toward the goal for half an hour (soccer).
in american cartoons nothing stands still for more than 3 seconds before
blasting off or flashing onto the next scene
