I am stuck w/ building my own HD. I flashed the drive following the
instructions off the internet w/ fireware for 250GB drive and it went pretty
smoothly. I didn't have an old one, so didn't do any backup/transfer.
However, when I plugged it in to XBOX360, the drive is not recognized. Am I
missing something? I can hear the drive spinning up while connected to the
console, so the connection should be there. I got the enclosure from ebay.

发帖数: 40 | 2 Just used Xplorer360 to check the drive. All partitions (0/2/3) seem to be
empty w/o any directory structures. Wonder if this is normal?

发帖数: 40 | 4 Thanks for sharing your experience. I tried and downloaded another HDDSS.
bin file and compared w/ the original one I used and they are of the same
size. Tried to flash it again anyways, but still no go. BTW, I used WD
Scorpio Blue BEVT Series and I believe this is one of the supported model.
It is really odd.

发帖数: 40 | 6 Thanks. That was exactly the same guide I followed as well. And I had also
the same hard drive. Now that it looks like the procedure indeed works,
maybe it is one of the component that is not working properly. That is
depressing :-(
