各位大大，对于1040 NR的Line 1 and Line 2 稍有疑惑。
US national是不是特指绿卡持有者（和American Samoa or Northern Mariana
Islands的特例）？
因为对于owes his sole allegiance to the United States这句不明白什么意思。
所以像F1 student NR，就该勾选Line 2 other NR aliean么？

No. The only people who are U.S. nationals but not U.S. citizens are people
from American Samoa. (Not Norther Mariana Islands; those people are also U.S
. citizens.)
