Not necessarily true. Employer's match does not count toward your W-2
income.
You should feel financially comfortable and secure before making
contribution to 401k, etc. With high salary as your couple, "没
有买房,没有生娃,没有买新车", you indeed did not try hard to reduce taxable
income by simple ways.
There are tax-exempt financial products (such as some annuities), but
professional's advice would be worthwhile before you make a decision. No

直没太考虑税的问题,我和LD不在一个州,所以也没法考虑买房什么的事.更冏的就是我
去年还是买了Roth IRA,结果填税时才发现已经不符合要求了,现在为了避免penalty,还
得想办法withdraw,哎,太糊涂了.

105,000-$120,000 (to be eligible for a partial contribution)
* Joint filers: Up to $166,000 (to qualify for a full contribution); $
