税。原先想等报税时可以将被扣掉的MO的州税钱要回来,再补交IL的州税。LG粗略查了
一下,发现似乎只有两州有协议(或关联)的才能这么做,而MO和IL之间没这方面的关系
。不知是不是这样?版上有类似的情况吗?
MO的州税是6%,而IL是3%。如果人住IL,按法律我该交哪州的税?

这种情况一般可以先填一个州的税,再填第二个州税时用 Credit for Taxes
Paid to Another State 减掉在第一个州交的,但要看具体算法,可能不是全

Thank you very much for replying. My husband did read the instructions. I
think April is right. So we will do so for 2008.
However, I wonder if any of you know: "if I work from home (Illinois) while
office is set up in MO - but rarely used, what state should actually
withhold my state tax?" Can I ask the HR to change the withholding state
from MO to IL? Usually, is this determined by the work address or home
address?
