In W-7 Instuction it says:
ITIN Not needed for Form 4868. If you are filing an application
for an extension of time to file using form 4868, DO NOT file form w-7 with
it. Enter "ITIN TO BE REQUESTED" wherever you SSN or ITIN is requested.
So the process will be:
1.File the extension form 4868 before 4/15. Enter the SSN/ITIN as "ITIN TO
BE REQUESTED".
2.File 1040 with w-7 whenever you can file as a resident, In my case I will
be able to file as resident on June 1st, 2009
