he just need to improve his arm recovery over the water. You can watch
Misty Hyman butterfly video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPTQ3v95w1g (I learned it from this board)
Also you may let your son know that once referee said "Take your mark", you
shall assume a motionless position, otherwise you will be disqualified... |

been completely in front of his head when they entered the water. I will
watch the video and try to learn from it.

发帖数: 559 | 12 Your son's armstrokes look a bit unusual but I cannot pinpoint it from afar.
Pay attention to how low the arms are above the water compares to your son's especially from different angles in the animation. In addition,how far he "reaches" may make a difference too.

发帖数: 7276 | 13 Yeah, he just started to learn butterfly a month or two ago in the swim team
, no private coach teaching yet (his private coach so far only taught him
freestyle and a little bit breast stroke). But his backstroke and butterfly
so far have the fastest time compared with state standards (they call it
blue time). So I'm not surprised his stroke could be wrong somewhere. Just
trying to find out where.. HeHe.. Thanks for the advice.
