制裁，不需要再找日本兵在卢沟桥失踪的理由，再抓着孟毫无意义，自然很快会无罪释
放。这时，要坚持到底，认罪就等于完蛋。

发帖数: 1486 | 11 重点在于prosecutor是要defer这个prosecution，这样说来，根本就没有认罪的可能性
（因为根本就没有trial）。至于prosecutor为什么要defer prosecution，和孟晚舟达
成了什么样的协议，跟案子本身已经无关了。
这个跟换个轻一些的charge去plea guilty性质完全不同。
从加拿大引渡法庭的角度来看，一旦美国检方defer了charge，那么引渡的trial就需要
被stay，这样在加拿大的角度来看，孟晚舟可以随时像正常人一样生活（包括离开加拿
大）。
通常在加拿大，trial被stay是因为等待开始trial的时间较长（unreasonable delay，
比如你1月1号拿到speeding ticket，12月31号才开庭trial）。其他原因，比如检方发
现自己证据不足，或者证人翻供等等，法庭都可以让trial stay。
Trial被stay，既不同于认罪（因为根本没有判决），也不同于撤销指控（因为指控没
被撤销），只是trial被stay（既不继续审理、也不撤销指控的一种“无聊”的状态）。
