frustrating stock to hold.
It was like an ugly duckling with the promise of growing into a beautiful
swan. But the cloud space was so crowded with the entrance of MSFT and AMZN.
The company kept lowering guidance quarter after quarter, beating the
lowered estimates and then went on lowering future estimates again... it's
in a downward spiral it could not get itself out of. A high multiple stock
with growth deceleration --- that's all I needed to know when I lost my
faith and exited the stock.
To make matter worse, Dell and EMC are tying up, VMW becomes the ugly step-
child nobody wants. | c***c

几家大大小小的分着， 但是emc买vmw真是个超好利润的丢， 500m+买的发展到30+B,
某天一个投资公司花了2个b不到买了emc的一些股份， 为了让自己投资生利润， 就闹
着要折腾vmw, 要卖EMC, 又逼着vmw买emc, 每次有个什么提案， vmw就跌， 反正不管
怎么样吃苦的就是vmw shareholders, emc不可能单卖vmw的， 因为获那么多利有巨大
的税， Dell也太有钱了， 买啥不好， 非要买emc, 也不是单恋vmw, 67B买， 要分的
还是vmw的利润， 消息一出， vmw猛跌个10+%， 这个deal已经在划算/不划算边缘了，
ER booking不好， 也就是个接口， vmw会一直被拉低的， emc/dell谈购买， 街上不
甩他们这些事， emc本来就是个24快以下的价格， 你要买在33， 那谁来补差价，vmw
呗 |
