假如我账户有十块, 要烧5股每股一块的股票. 但是方向判断失误, 股票涨到2块一股.
那么现在是那种情况:
1. 我会被margin call, 因为股票涨到2块, 我的asset损失了5块, 所以我必须平仓5块
钱的股票才行. 这样即使后来股票跌回5块, 我损失一半asset.
或者
2. 不会margin call, 因为我的资金还是十块. 只有超过10块才会margin call.
假设这个股票是100% non-maginable.

发帖数: 7944 | 2 Your assumption is incorrect, 100% non-maginable is treated as cash like and
is not allowed to sell short.
As long as the stock you sold short is marginable and is *not* subject to
special margin requirement, you are still fine, no margin call so far, $15
cash, $10 debt, 150% margin requirement is still met.
However, as market conditions change, margin requirements are subject to
change without much notice and often to the direction of tightening. If this
is the case, your short position maybe liquidated by the broker at any time. | c*********v
