Products, Inc. (Nasdaq:AFOP), an innovative supplier of fiber optic
components, subsystems and integrated modules for the optical network
equipment market, today announced that it will hold a special stockholder
meeting on October 21, 2013.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider and to vote on three
proposals: to increase the number of shares of authorized Common Stock from
20,000,000 to 100,000,000 shares, to increase by 900,000 the number of
shares available for issuance under the 2000 Stock Incentive Plan, and to
adjourn the special meeting, if necessary, to solicit additional proxies in
the event there are insufficient votes at the time of the special meeting to
approve one or both of the other proposals. |
