loss, driven by lackluster earnings and reduced guidance from UPS and others
. But losses were trimmed in the final hour after Jon Hilsenrath reported
the Fed is moving closer to taking new actions. Treasurys rose after an
auction of two-year notes saw record low yields. NYSE losers led gainers
three to one.
