Twenty years after President Clinton won his presidential bid, today's stock
market is still about the economy. One of the nagging issues that wouldn't
seem to go away during this election year is the stubbornly high
unemployment rate. It has been above 8% over the past year. Friday's weak
job data caused major pain in the stock market.
