over-sold shares (up to 15%) when the price pushed too high. In the case of
Fb today, it's the over-sold shares covering MS' ass. If ur number is
correct, they got 50.4m times $42 by oversold shares, which probably is
enough for the defending cost.

MS got 2.4 B in cash to defend $38. According to news, MS used 2B to save FB
not falling below $38. So please stop speculating that MS had a huge loss
on defending it or MS selling whatever other stock to defend FB...No need,
man, no need. |
