If it is foreign investors that sell the T-bill, then the money may not go into the US equity market as people
predicted.
For example, China may sell off US T-bill and diversify the proceeds into european assets for two reasons:
1. China promised to back up EU;
2. European assets (especially high quality assets like "DAX") are still much cheaper than the US.
When central banks are heavily intervening market like nowadays, you should change your way of interpreting
a lot of things. |
