The main reason is that the smartphone and tablet's markets are getting
saturated. Unless AAPL can come up with a new line of product, it will not
go anywhere.
A little history: AAPL get first boost to sell ipod and dominate the MP3
market.
Then AAPL get second boost to sell iphone and dominate the smartphone
market.
Then AAPL get third boost to sell ipad and dominate the tablet market.
Now what next? Apple TV? I do not think so. |

Win8 for ARM 上面当然可以运行 for x86的 application,就像现在x64 机器上可以运
行x86的application是一样的。
当然反过来是不行的，Win8 for x86上面不能运行ARM 的application.要运行需要重新编译一个for x86的版本，很简单，用Visual Studio 的话换个configuration rebuild一下就好。

笔记本和台式机的销量是iPad的十倍，Windows 8出来，既可以允许在PC和笔记本上，
也可以运行在X86和ARM版本的Tablet上，基本是一剑封喉，ipad能活多久不好说，
android估计是立马就死了。 |

Phone也会加入竞争，竞争更加残酷，价格优势没法保存。iPad，Windows 8出来基本没
法竞争，这是路线问题，iPad界面做的再Cool，功能上也没法和Windows 8比。更何况
还有tablet商业用户，因为应用的关系，基本都会投到Windows阵营。

微软这次想要PC, tablet, phone通吃，就是不知道胃口有没有这么大。
想到tablet我就来气。03年我就用Windows的tablet了，丫微软楞把这个方向做死掉了
。非等AAPL把市场作出来再跟进。说微软缺乏创新能力是有道理的。

，Windows Phone属于比较弱的一足。
但如果Windows Phone能把它在低频率CPU上也能流畅运行的优势，加以充分发挥，搞出
大量极其廉价的智能手机，情况又会不同。
Tablet的情况和2008年netbook有点类似，当时netbook 90%都是运行Linux，一年之间
就消失了。iPad没有那么脆弱，但最多能有Mac OS X和PC类似的市场份额。毕竟手机OS
用在tablet上，功能比完整的桌面OS差的远了。
