U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has told President Barack Obama he
would stay in his post, a Treasury Department official said Sunday.
Mr. Geithner, who had weighed leaving earlier this summer, now "looks
forward to the important work ahead on the challenges facing our great
country," Jenni LeCompte, an assistant Treasury secretary for public affairs
