1.你看它借了很多钱去做钻井船，而全世界的钻井船总供应量明年将翻翻，它的业务将受很大的影响。
2. 公司的船运业竞争非常的激烈。运费大跌，明后几年世界上的船支总数量将翻番。前景不妙。
这个公司就是一个租赁公司而已，加上处在一下竞争非常激烈行业，比房地业及银行业
还要差。

1， drilling business没有太大问题，上面有人说明年翻倍，我没有看到过这样的数
据。这是我还持有一些drys的唯一原因。
2， dry bulking shipping business：以前发文说过了，供应量增长太大，没有翻番
那么夸张，但是10-12年增加量是09年供应量的45%左右（数据来自drys，prgn的ER
call script），这一块至少在12年初之前不会有太大起色。
3， 这家公司在大家都deleverage的时候leverage，逆其道而行，而且debt很多是
float interest，interest payment未来就要命了。
4， ocean rig应该是在挪威上市，我没有听到说在NASDAQ上市的消息，有没有朋友可
以确认一下信息来源？我注册了drys的investor relationship的email notification
，这样的消息我怎么没有收到？我一直在赌IPO。
比较幸运的是，我在去年底大大减少了drys的持有量，躲过了YTD loss。我对DRYS的管
理层比较失望，所以即便现在很便宜，我也不会在加仓了（我是长期投资者，不做
swing）。
如果你在drys上被套牢了，而且仓位又比较大，我建议你逢高减仓，除非你有做长期股
东的打算。drys还有一艘今年下海的drilling ship还没有拿到合同，我觉得6-7月份就
应该出来（根据高油价支持深海钻油，以及过去合同和新船下海的lead-in时间）。新
合同应该会扭转趋势。
另外，从大盘的方面来看，R2000 index跌破了支撑，这对中小型股不是什么好消息，
注意small cap的仓位，不要选太多高风险的股票。

ocean rig 是已经在去年IPO了， 到NASDAQ只是挂牌交易。 根据以下的interview,
drys
不但不会将他们现有的 ocean rig 股份发给 drys 股东， 他们还想卖掉一些来
leverage，
借更多的钱来买更多的船。

Finally to talk about the IPO, I want to be clear in terms of it,
because people interchangeably use the
word IPO and spin off. In our minds it’s very clear, we did the IPO of
Ocean Rig back in December
2010, when we did the private placement where we sold 22 percent of the
company and we raised
$500 million. The company trades now in the Oslo Over the Counter
market. Now what we’re in the
process of doing is listing the company on an international exchange.
There are two exchanges that
we’ve targeted, the first one we will do is a U.S. exchange. We will
list the company on Nasdaq,
this will be the primary listing. There will be a secondary listing
which will happen after the listing on
Nasdaq, and that will be in Oslo.
As far as the timing of this listing is concerned we have been going
through this process and working
on the documents for the last couple of months. We expect that in the
next couple of weeks let’s say
by early June we will be able to file an F4 document which is what is
called an Exchange Offer where
the private shares that we issued back in December will be exchanged for
Nasdaq registered shares.
So it’s a pure share exchange, there’s no money raised, basically the
existing investors who bought
the 22 percent will exchange their private shares for SEC registered
shares which will eventually be
listed on Nasdaq.
As DryShips we have promised investors that we would look at how we can
monetize the value
that DryShips has in Ocean Rig. So there are a couple of options one we
can look at, a dividend of
Ocean Rig shares to the existing
DryShips shareholders that is on
the table. We’re thinking about that.
The other option is to sell down
a portion of the DryShips holding
in Ocean Rig and that releases
cash for DryShips, that cash can
be used in various different ways
in terms of increasing the fleet. So
for example, drybulk carrier values
are quite depressed at this point.
Of course accordingly the freight
market is depressed as well but
this presents an opportunity. So if
you take let’s say $500 million and
you lever it up 50 percent, so you
take $500 million of equity and
$500 million of debt, basically you
