It is a bit weird that the two brokers I am using now all have their all
own clearing
subsidiaries...
The below is the email content....
You have indicated that you wish to receive your account statements by
email notification in lieu of a paper statement by regular mail.
To view your account statements on the secured site please click the
link below:
https://documents.penson.com
If at any time you wish to change your method of delivery, please update
your "Update Profile". The account statement will be considered
delivered to you
upon receipt of this email. If you have selected to receive your
account statements via email and do not receive notification, please
verify that
your email address is correct under "Update Profile". Account statements
that are
rejected will be mailed, and after 3 unsuccessful attempts the "Update
Profile" will be
automatically reset to send hard copies by regular mail to the physical
address of record.
Please be aware any replies to this notification will not be monitored.
If you have any questions or concerns, please notify your introducing
broker

I am using IB and ML , both of which have their own clearing.
The question is why I am receiving this email from Penson, WEIRD!

paperless statement by default with Sogo. Why I am getting this email from
Penson now?
Did you get same email from Penson recently as well?

发帖数: 63 | 8 Just checked, SOGO uses Genesis for clearing, not Penson.
Scottrade,MB Trading, Optionhouse, Zecco, Thinkorswim, and Tradeking use
Penson, but I have no accounts with the above mentioned.

my guess is sogotrade, because sogo recently switched to use penson for the
clearing services.
i tried to use sogo account to log in, but failed.
likely i will contact sogo to find out.

stole my ID and opened some account?
