A rash of statuses and tweets have appeared calling the natural disaster ‘
just deserts’ for the attack in 1941.
In a completely tasteless act several individuals on Facebook and Twitter
are calling the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan deserved and
even expressing joy about it.
A search for ‘Pearl Harbor’ on Openbook reveals the number of Facebook
status updates showing no compassion for a generation of Japanese citizens
that had nothing to do with the attack. A search on Twitter reveals similar
results.
