premarket; recent volatility around price of LNG shares, units
of Cheniere Energy Partners (CQP) “somewhat unfounded,” Citi’s
Faisel Khan and John Tysseland say.
Upgrades CQP to hold from sell, maintains PT $18; maintains LNG at buy, PT $
10
Sabine Pass (wholly owned entity of LNG/CQP) not in default, Citi says,
citing auditors signed off on financials; says issue of rev. recognition b/w
Cheniere units not new, has been looked at by auditors for >3 years without
incident
LNG’s top holders: Blackstone w/ 14% stake, GSO Capital 14%, Orbis Holdings
11%, Kleinheinz Capital 7.2%, Paulson & Co. 4.1%
NOTE: Yesterday, LNG & CQP plunged 36% & 23%, respectively, after 8-K filing
showed Centerbridge Partners (holder of Sabine Pass notes) alleged unit
recorded “materially false and misleading” 2010 earnings/rev.
NOTE: Centerbridge claimed unit in default, maturity date of notes may be
accelerated; Citi says if this occurred, distributions to common unitholders
of CQP may be suspended; LNG filed lawsuit against fund, says claims “
without merit”

这些note应该default，如果是真的，LNG/CQP就要提早还本，CQP就可能停止分红，所
以昨天LNG大跌35%，LNG/CQP马上否认并起诉Centerbridge，今天LNG又大升30%。 | K****n

发帖数: 3252 | 5 有没有做帐，我们不可能知道，他们说是由Ernst & Young审核的，没问题。不过这个
centerbridge 声称的 default 是 non monetary default, 很可能有人买了PUT，利用
这个来获利。LNG已经涨回不少，CQP相对少些，而且上周earning report 时保证今年
分红$1.7, 觉得CQP风险小些，现在这个价位，div 已经10+%。 | h**********9
