These are high-risk, high reward situations
but liquidity is usually [very] limited.
Typically, positions are opened and closed
within 5 days if not much less.
One should use brokers that charge say $1
minimum per trade for such situations as the
dollar amount is typically small.
They are great for beginners who want to risk
very small sums but learn how to trade, as
the illiquidity makes it challenging while
the big percentage intra- and inter-day moves
also challenge the trader with more difficult
entry and exit decisions. Of course, the high
potential return (2 to 3 digit% returns) can
make it financially worthwhile and interesting
for beginners who are starting small.
I normally don't trade such low volume stocks.
Frankly, there are almost tons of such stocks
every night, and the above are just a typical
sample. Most are sub-penny OTCBB or Pink Sheet
stocks. But you need to know which ones are
bullish and which ones are bearish to do well.
