AMR (NYSE: AMR) opened at $8.03. So far today, the stock has hit a low of $8
.00 and a high of $8.23. AMR is now trading at $8.14, up $0.29 (3.69%). Over
the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $5.11 to a high of $10
.50. AMR shares are rising this morning after an analyst at JP Morgan listed
the stock as a Top Idea, giving it a $13.50 price target. In a note to
clients, the analyst said JP Morgan expects AMR to boost its margins in 2011
while labor costs at competitors will rise to AMR's levels. This could be a
good sign for AMR. Technical indicators for the stock are neutral and S&P
gives AMR a neutral 3 STARS (out of 5) hold ranking. If you are looking for
a hedged play on AMR the stock seems like it could be a candidate for a May
