Anyway, Lee Klaskow, trucking analyst for Longbow Research, this morning
writes that while there is still excess capacity in the “less than
truckload,” or LTL, market for freight delivery, that capacity is being
burned off by rising demand and carriers are keeping their pricing
“disciplined,” which means industry rates should hit “an inflection
point” this year, rising by “low single digits,” he believes.
