a***m 发帖数: 666 | 1 I have a sample of 100 transactions. 80% of the total value is related to
customer A and the rest Customer B. 80% of the total transactions are
related to customer A as well. And the rest are from customer B. What does
it mean ? I studied statistics many years ago and have fully forgotten that.
I am very interested in it and want to pick it up. So I start from simple,
easy samples first. Appreciate your kind help in the question.
My have concluded the following:
1. The value per transaction doesn't vary much across the sample.
2. The percentage of transactions is consistent with that of total value by
customer.
Am I right ? Please correct me if I am wrong. | s******8 发帖数: 102 | 2 My understanding is:
assume total transactions (records) are 1M, 80% of records are from A, the
rest 20% from B;
then take a sample as 100 transactions from 1M, 80% of total values are from
A, and 20% from B. |
