consulting firm),拿到的position是一样的。
phd去mgmt consulting firm最好是fresh graduate而且是名校出身，然后练练case
interview,当然英语好肯定是必须的啦。

我觉得consulting是一个典型的where personality & character matters the most!
Different from a skill that is practiced and acquired. 我觉得读MBA也一样，首
要的也是一种类似的mentality.

join mgmt consulting firm.
I heard empoloyees in those companies have to leave after 2 years if they
cannot get promotions. Different lifestyle, and inappropriate for 95% people
here.

发帖数: 2333 | 8 phd和MBA比当然没有优势，lz都已经是phd了，我是说他毕业就申请比工作个一两年申
请有利，还有其实各个site也有区别，最好去申请大一点的不要是红脖州的中小型的，
一般那些地方本来就没几个外国人，最后一轮面试其实就是看你气场合不合，所以会吃
亏。。。。。mgmt consulting firm就是这样的，up or leave，升不上去就走人。除
非做到partner级别，大部分人做到一定位置离开也不是什么disaster,下家一般也都不
错。

consultant，accounting firm的之类的？不过中国人说起咨询一般都是指mgmt类别的
吧，这类pay的比较高出路比较好，当然也不容易进，特别是三大。
