BIOSTATISTICIAN
Duties:
Provide statistical support for the CRIC Study, a large national biomedical
research project including statistical analyses and production of tables and
graphs for manuscripts and proposals as well as for management of the CRIC
Study Network. Work with faculty biostatisticians and faculty investigators
at the Penn Scientific Data Coordinating Center of the CRIC Study, with
selected investigators in the CRIC Study Network outside of Penn, and with
other Penn-based staff project managers/biostatisticians/programmers
devoting effort to the CRIC Study to coordinate data cleaning effort and
carry out analysis plans.
Qualifications:
MS degree in biostatistics or statistics or equivalent and 2 years ( 3 is
strongly preferred) of experience or an equivalent combination of education
and experience is required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to
manage time effectively. Should be willing to adjust priorities to meet
occasional changing deadlines with tight time frames. Experience with large
datasets and/or genetic data analysis preferred. Position contingent upon
funding. |
