Biostat is not a problem at all. What we care is not what is written on the
degree. Instead, we are looking for passionate self-starter that can work
efficiently in a business environment, think from the standpoints of both
customers and Google, make sense of business proposal, come up with
execution and analytical plans to test business hypothesis, suggest business
actions, support business decisions, etc.

each person's preference instead of the limitation of a position.

Most "Statistician" at Google is in one of the following ladder.

the job responsibility (on the technical side) will involve designing
testing plan on marketing campaigns, extracting data for operation,
analyzing result and coming up with insights.
However, on the business side, this position need to work closely with Sales
, Marketing, Engineering, and other groups to come up with business
diagnostics, proposal, timeline, new initiatives, different plans for
scenarios, etc. This will require some real full-time working experience.
This will be a mid-to-senior level position, so we want someone who not only
know how to do, but also what to do. The person should be self-starter and
has pro-active attitude. But we have a very nice team to help jump-start.
This is a great opportunity for people who want a good balance between
technical and business experience.
In terms of Green Card, I will leave that to HR for details. But I know
Google has great (maybe the best) support on immigration in the industry.

product shoping有关系，还是给那些在google deploy keywords的merchants 提供分
