Medicine in Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) seeks candidates for a
Post-Doctoral position to perform research in social and behavioral aspects
of HIV/AIDS. This professional training position is fully funded by a multi-
year NIH grant.
Requirements for the position are: (1) a PhD in epidemiology, sociology,
psychology, or other public health disciplines; (2) great interest in social
and behavioral aspects of HIV/AIDS research; and (3) experience in using
SAS to conduct data analysis or social network data analysis. Understanding
the Chinese culture is a plus. Successful candidates will have ample
opportunities to work on first-authored manuscripts and present findings at
conferences. Compensation is very competitive, including relocation fee,
individual health insurance, and vacation time.
