they provide most compatiblity and functionality to SAS/BASE, and only 3(
three) procedures were partially supported in WPS/STAT: PROC REG/LOGITSIC/
SCORE. By 'partially supported', it means only a portion of the options/
models are supported in WPS/STAT. But, hey, it is already good enough for a
lot of business applications. You don't need a very fancy model to start
your market analytics, right?

with better integration of SAS with Java objects, it is possible to
incorporate more complex analytical capability through JAVA to SAS/BASE and
you can sell that suite to companies concerning about cost

我觉得开发R的不错。Industry的人怕写code嘛，我们就开发个图形界面，然后底层就是
R。基本上也没有人会告。

because you can store/QC your steps written in scripts in a much easier way
than store/QC a series of drags and clicks.
