好每月不要交钱的，不要minimum balance, 而且incoming international wires free
or low cost, L/C 便宜的。发现local 的BOA和TD bank都不咋如意，而HSBC的不错，
但我们附近没有他家的branch和atm,请问我们开Business checking acct.需要local
branch吗？今后一切生意有关银行的业务都在网上操作行吗？我看好像存支票也可以网
上进行。我估计我也不需要现金存取。
如果可以的话，那选择网上银行或credit union也行吧？
实在不好意思，有些东西怕说不准确所以中英文夹着打。多谢多谢！ |

发帖数: 741 | 3 I do not see why you can not open business checking account online. They
might ask you to fax over you inc paper if they can not locate your business
in their database. If the bank is not licensed to do business in your state
(which is very unlikely for HSBC), then that is a different issue.
However, deposit check online, such as using cell phone app, is tricky. All
banks that currently support remote deposit using cell apps, AFAIK, is only
for personal account. For business account, you will mostly need to sign up
for their cash management feature, which as additional fees.
For wire transfer, the best deal I found is Citi's preferred banking for
business. It gives 5 free incoming or outgoing wires (domestic or
international) every month. However you have to maintain 15,000 balance,
otherwise there will be a fee. I did not compare with HSBC, so I am not sure
if HSBC's deal is better. However I like to have a local rep that I can
talk to, and HSBC does not have local branch for me either.

反正我在Delaware注册的公司到了德州Chase
是不给开账户的。。。

BOA有5k的minimum bal；
HSBC在我们州找个branch太难了?
PNC有个small biz checking
没有min bal requirement，每个月交易数上限200；
起步钱少，交易暂时也不会有那么多，最后选了P～～

发帖数: 741 | 10 That's always the case. You need to foreign register your company in TX
before you can open a bank account in TX. Opening a bank account is one of
those considered "significant" presence criteria.
What I said was different. If you have a TX corp, and want to open an
account in TX in a bank that operates in TX, which you can not find a local
branch, technically, there should be no problem.

to start with, unless you are sole proprietor/dba (not a real company). I
would not even use this approach for single member LLC, etc.

That is probably right. I run a business but not an LLC yet
