This event intents to provide Entrepreneurs or Entrepreneurs-To-Be great
opportunities to meet more useful contacts in similar fields. The focus is
technologies, including Information Technology, Energy Technology,Materials
Technology, Bio-Tech.
Time: 2-5pm, Aug 21st (Sun),
Location: Room 32-124 http://whereis.mit.edu, 1st floor of Ray & Maria Stata Center, MIT, 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139
Organizer: MIT ETF (Economic Talent Forum) & OverseaTalents
Registration: $5 (we just want to make sure you will show up & beverages and
snacks will be provided)
Agenda:
2-2:15pm Sign in & Warm-up Networking
2:15-2:45pm Speed Networking Session I (1-to-1 in groups)
You will be divided into a group of 8 depending on your interest area (IT,
Energy, Materials, Bio-tech) and will be assigned a number from 1-8. For No.
1-4, please don’t change your seat throughout the session. For No. 5-8,
please move to the next seat after one round is finished. Each round has 6
min. Within the 6 min, please 1) introduce yourself, 2) describe your idea
or startup 3)tell the counterparty what help you are looking for if you are.
2:45-3pm Break & Freestyle Networking
3-3:30pm Speed Networking Session II (1-to-3 in groups)
During this session, you will be grouped with people you haven’t talked to
from previous session. No. 1-4 will be in the first group & No. 5-8 will be
in the second group. In each group, please take turns to 1) introduce
yourself, 2) describe your idea or startup 3) tell the counterparty what
help you are looking for if you are, to the other three listeners. Each of
you will have 6 min.
3:30-3:45pm Public Session (1-to-All)
For those who are interested in, you will be given the opportunity to
present yourself and your idea in 5 min. We only have 3 spots for this
session. Please sign up here in advance.
