发帖数: 3273 | 2 I don't think it's very complicated. You can DIY. But why don't let a CPA
do it? It won't cost too much but save yourself a lot of time.
And usually they know a lot more deduction than you do so can save you
more tax.

给些挺有用的建议。 我自己做bookkeeping, 有时真的做的乱七八糟的。 觉得同会计
师聊聊。 听友收获的。

doing/follow each step carefully, you can do it yourself.
Otherwise you can hire a CPA or just tax filer to do it. The fee you pay
for the service is tax deductible. |

It's not that you can't do it. I am sure many people here are smart
enough to learn accounting and DIY.
The problem is all these kinds of things add up to a huge amount
of your time, and they can totally distract you. After a while
you find yourself knowing everything yet good at nothing, and your
business is going nowhere.

what them mean, that's just kind of dangerous to run business like that. At
least you've got to know your bottom line, break even point, etc.
Also at the very beginning, when the business owner cannot afford to hire
professionals to do those things, you've got to know at least something
about basic accounting. I've known business owner who's so tied up in
running day to day business but didn't have a clue if she's making a profit
or not. And sometimes people think that there are lots of business sales
and activities going on but in fact they are not making a PROFIT.
I understand that as a business owner, you don't have to do everything
yourself. But still, I think every owner should at least know how to read
financial reports and know what's going on in their business financially. :)

a clearly idea about what's going on financially. You have to be able
to know the bottom line (which is very easy) in the financial report.
But I think we were talking about tax. Tax is a different issue. For
a business, it involves a lot of tricks and details.
