complicated and high risk business. Even those farmers with many generations
of experience can not survive. Greenhouse farming requires a lot of
investment, easily several millions. No one would lend money to some without
experience.
I have degrees in agronomy and have worked with many farmers. It is really
tedious work with very little reward. I may buy a farm when near my
retirement. But only as a hobby. I won't expect any profit out |

请问这个有没有可能? 比如自己养很少量的猪,牛,鸡
弄几个水塘,养河鲜之类的?

California. It includes Cattle, Winery, Tomato, Sweet Potato, Potato, Corn,
Almond, net packaging...
Farming is a very good business as long as your farm is in economic scale.
The gross profit is around 70 ~ 90%. You need to hire at least 15 seasonal
Mexican labors for help. The core operation staff may only two. One is the
owner, the other is secretary/bookkeeper.

. All the sheeps are cleaned and dressed up. My daughter and I really
enjoyed the events.
If you are interested in farming. Please attend local 4H events. It will
give you some idea about farm life.

猪应该喂番薯叶，除了刚刚出生的一段时间
牛么，肯定应该吃草了
鸡要放养
Grass Feed beef现在是个热点，不过对于小农场，找到USDA批准的屠宰场很难，因为屠
宰场高度垄断集中，很多小农场主要提前一年预约，还要驱车几百mile...
当然，听说现在出了USDA批准的流动屠宰车

发帖数: 1222 | 16 要是你有钱有闲有体力，中年危机到了没事干，那就去搞个休闲农场玩。如果在中部有
个几十万美金就够了，刚开始有个30英亩就够你开着拖拉机折腾了，超过30英亩就的要
雇长工了。
