Sociologists in gender and those in family field have a long debate over how
to account for the function of family. Some experts in gender are more radi
cal and maintain we should give up the social institution of family as a sor
t of male domination on women. However, many students of family field hold a
conservative attitude and indicate that family benefit women a lot. How do
