Dear members of the Economic Sociology Section,
We'd like to invite you to an exciting event that the Theory Section is
organizing during this year's ASA meetings in Boston. The theme of the
2008 Theory Section Mini-Conference is "Theoretical Pragmatics:
Methodological Challenges," focusing on the different (and sometimes
contending) ways in which sociologists link the practice of theory with
substantive research. The Mini-Conference consists of four invited
