Bayern Munich have signed the younger brother of Germany’s World Cup hero
Mario Götze.
Felix Götze, 16, has moved from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer
after playing for their under-17 side. He follows in the footsteps of Mario,
who scored the winning goal against Argentina as Germany won their fourth
World Cup.
“Felix has left Dortmund for Bayern, that is correct,” Bayern’s youth
director, Michael Tarnat, confirmed to Sport Bild.
Götze Jr becomes the third member of the Götze family to leave
Dortmund after older brother Fabian joined Mainz in January 2010 and Mario
went to Bayern last summer.
Fabian, 24,plays for SpVgg Unterhaching in the German third tier. | O**l
