The Besiktas director of sport has told journalists “we’re ready to seal
the deal for Douglas Maicon within two weeks.”
It has been reported numerous times that Inter are prepared to sell Maicon
over the summer in order to fund their transfer strategy.
An offer from Real Madrid was rejected last season, but Jose Mourinho still
wants that reunion and it could happen this time round.
Premier League sides are also said to be interested, but Turkish club
Besiktas made a surprising statement.
“We’re ready to seal the deal for Maicon within two weeks,” director of
sport Serdar Adali told Turkish CNN.
Besiktas are well-funded and already have Italian defender Matteo Ferrari at
the club. |
