Take a young alumni ski trip Feb. 1-5! Enjoy four nights in luxurious
mountainside lodging surrounded by some of the best beginner and expert
terrain in North America. Spend your days on the slopes or around town with
one of the many non-skier activities. Let your evenings be filled with many
of the Echo Tours events or arrange a night in the world famous Strawberry
Hot Springs.
Steamboat’s Mount Werner is the second longest vertical drop in Colorado
and boasts of having the most fabulous champagne powder anywhere. Almost 3,
000 acres of skiable terrain provide a wide variety of runs, some as long as
2 1/2 miles. Snowmaking covers 160 acres of trails giving Steamboat the
necessary backup if Mother Nature does not come through as she usually does.
Steamboat is well known for being No. 1 in early season snow.
The Lodge is located near the base of Mount Werner just steps from the
gondola, shops and restaurants. Each unit has a very unique floor plan with
angular rooms that are spacious and beautifully appointed, yet comfortable.
There is free shuttle access that also runs daily around the resort and to
downtown Steamboat.
Included in your trip:
Deluxe condo lodging for four nights (five days)
Three days of lift tickets valid at Steamboat Resort
Discounted rental equipment available
Condos will hold either five or seven travelers in a two-bedroom or three-
bedroom unit, respectively. If your group does not have enough members to
fill a room, you will have the option to either pay a fee to cover the cost
of the open slot(s) OR a roommate(s) will be assigned to you. Singles are
welcome but will be placed with groups who have open space in their condo.
After a deposit is received, you will be contacted with information on how
to create rooming groups via online portal. Final room assignments will be
made in December after all final payments are received.
Note that the advertised price does not include airfare. Shuttle
transportation to Steamboat is available (Feb. 1 only) at an additional cost
and may be selected during the reservation process. Similarly, there is
only one departure date available for the shuttle (Feb. 5).
Please note that the driving time between Denver airport (DEN) and Steamboat
resort is approximately four hours, so please plan your air arrangements
accordingly.
There is only one package available; you may choose to arrive/depart for a
shorter number of days, but the price is based on a package and cannot be
adjusted.
