Can anyone recommend some good ski resorts near SLC that allow snowboarders?
I heard that The Deervalley doesn't allow riders.
I'm just a beginner, green and blue only.
How's the Brighton? The Canyons? The Solitude? Park City Mountain Resort?
I heard the Snowbird is good but has mostly black diamonds.
I'll be staying in the Hilton in downtown so would like to drive no more
than 1 hour each way.
P.S. Where else can I get discounted day passes? Hilton frontdesk has |

park city其实比较适合beginner，大部分blue都很friendly.他们还有double blue
ski n see可以买打折票

view都不错吧，park city没啥特别的，就是base比较大，奥运会的主赛场。但是
advanced道比较少而且短，我估计以后不会去了

Hey, thx 4 the info of ski n see. It does look pretty good. Some of the
discounts offered in hotel front desks could be better, fyi, the one I was
offered was $58 for the Canyons, and $58 for Snowbird, both are super passes
(? What does that mean? can be used as shuttle tix?).
How was snowbird? It seems to have the most vertical drop among the few.

kinda remember a wide and long green run called Big Emma, it was pretty fun
to fly on the run. I was scoldered by a ski patroller for skiing too fast :P

instead of 169 (which is usually suggested by google or bing map). 167 is

though it was probly a waste for a rookie like me.
The view on top of Blackcomb/Whistler is just mesmerizing: layers of snow
mountains just like those in Chinese traditional painting, with the golden
sunset casting on top of them....

下了新雪应该还可以，但前几天下了雨，恐怕会很硬。

做好了滑冰的准备的。
sunnyside上次去还有石头，powder bowl顶上有，下面还挺好。

- Brighton is cheaper and good for beginers and intermediate levels.
Solitude is a little better for higher levels.
- Costco has Canyons and Snowbird tickets at $98/2days. You may also buy
discount tix at any ski rental shops.
- Park City and The Canyons do not get as much snow as the others but if you
are a high roller or later like to rubbing shoulders with celebs when
Sundance Movie Fest is coming, go ahead.
All these resorts are within 1hr driving

I heard from my friend that the Canyons is pretty good, especially to
beginner, a lot of blue runs, although I never been to park city's resorts,
hehe
