=higher price=heavy weight
for example, mojo 15 comes with a din setting of 5-15. i won't use this
binding unless my normal din setting is 6-7 or more.
I myself is comfortable with DIN 6. Most entry level binding has a max din
of around 10 (example rossignol FREESKI² 100 XL, DIN3-10 ), which is
enough for me.
If you check FREESKI² 180 XXL, it has DIN 10-18. I simply cannot use
this binding.

the min DIN is too strong.
for example, this $339.95 binding has a min DIN of 6. But I do not want to
use it on DIN 6 since I need some margin for safe release.

You may consult the staff in your ski shop and they will explain to you.
Go for those major brands like rossignol/look/marker/salomon/head/atomic etc
.
