The opening area was limited. chair 4 was close for the whole day. luckily, the legendary chair 10 was in operation all day long and we explored the area well.
It started to dump wet snow with strong wind around 11a.m. and kept all day
long. The snow condition changed from icy to heavy powder in half a day.
Due to the wet snow, all of us were socked except me since I was in new ski
jacket and pants:)
I just bought this spyder bolt ski jacket in local store for $190 las |

was mountain run, mid mountain (Powder bowl) was icy.
Spent the afternoon on icy moguls (Waterfall?), tough... |

He was a rider in the past 5 years and he finally turned to a skier this
season and he can ski down(not smoothly enough though) 99% of the double
black in tahoe after 5 days on skis.
Actually, he was the person lured me to skiing in the Christmas of 2006. He
had a spot on his car for a 4 day vacation in tahoe and I was decide to
crash in in the last minute just because I had nothing to do for that
holiday. I was brought to a "beginner slope" by him on the first

发帖数: 1327 | 10 it is in kirkwood,ca, on CA88 near south tahoe. it is far from other major
tahoe area resorts and almost in the middle of nowhere.
kirkwood is a middle size resort with 2000ft vertical drop(7800' to 9800')
and 2300 acres.
it has the best snow in tahoe area and it claims itself has the deepest snow
in USA. it has a base of 110-146" while the nearby heavenly has 46-64".
the terrain is not as steep as squaw overall but offers almost everything.
the best known run/chair is called "the wall".
