comsmoplitan life style is all about, someone who has a fancy taste (does
not have to be expensive), someone who understand literature and music, a

ancestry. As true to all old-schoolers, a leica camera (from M3 - M7, no M9!
) is a must for any 爷叔, a rollie or Hassle would also be nice.
爷叔 must also have a turntable player with a sizable collection of classical and
jazz LP records (original press only), a tube amp is nice, but not always required...
more importantly, 爷叔 never has to worry about money, though 爷叔 does not
have to have a lot, just never have to worry about it. 爷叔's life is about viewing it thru rosy glasses...
that's a typical shanghainess 爷叔 for me... feel free to add anything i

happens if I get one or two more? got to save for rainy days..

up my report chain, the lowest ranked boss i have dealt with is a Major (
Army).
And in the past, I have reported directly to 2 Lt. CoL and maybe 3 COL.
Direct report.
and one of the COL i have reported to was now a 3 star. Talking about only 2
years back, he was still a full COL and now 3 star.
And I used to belong to HQDA and was protected by Pentagon Force Protection
Agency and was issued a gas mask and survival kit, for daily use and
deployment. Stowed directly at my cubical, haha.
so you judge my level right there. sorry, I just do not deal with anybody
lower like a captain or corporal or seagent.

when you're in the reserve, but at least it was automatic.. from E1 to E4, I
got paid a whole $20 extra a month!!!
i was also lucky that the world was at peace during my 8-year tenure.. so I
have seen no action whatsoever. I was really disappointed by this then, but
now feeling truely blessed...
the GI bill helped to pay for my fancy school and because of my service, the
school covered the rest, so free education thanks to uncle sam... |

When i was a kid. I went to a public school, I even got free lunch ticket
since I was from a single parent family and my mother's annual salary is
less than 3x00.
I then went to one of the suckie public schools, had uncle sam paid for my
tuition. OH and student loan, too.
But I need to point out that my school is suckie like hell, always
struggling at the lower 40s. I am sure your daughter will grab one of the
ivyleague admissions.
I did manage to learn Piano at age of 17 and achieved level 3 equivalent
skill.
Chinese? I learned on my own, and now they call me big wet. So I think i am
not that bad
Japanese? I watched JDrama alot, now i can do some very broken conversation
shit. I read tons of useless books on Sengoku era.
Kendo? Oh fock that. I played KEnho on PS2 though.
Karate? Nice try btich

1900 a month depends on how many weeks in a month... soon, she will start
taking extra classes, chinese, japanese, piano, ballet, kendo, karate,
equestrian, all cost $$$...
also need to start saving for her college.. so far only 1 kid, but what
happens if I get one or two more? got to save for rainy days..

up my report chain, the lowest ranked boss i have dealt with is a Major (
Army).
And in the past, I have reported directly to 2 Lt. CoL and maybe 3 COL.
Direct report.
and one of the COL i have reported to was now a 3 star. Talking about only 2
years back, he was still a full COL and now 3 star.
And I used to belong to HQDA and was protected by Pentagon Force Protection
Agency and was issued a gas mask and survival kit, for daily use and
deployment. Stowed directly at my cubical, haha.
so you judge my level right there. sorry, I just do not deal with anybody
lower like a captain or corporal or seagent.

发帖数: 2719 | 77 i started as E1, took me 3 years to get to E4... its a much slower process
when you're in the reserve, but at least it was automatic.. from E1 to E4, I
got paid a whole $20 extra a month!!!
i was also lucky that the world was at peace during my 8-year tenure.. so I
have seen no action whatsoever. I was really disappointed by this then, but
now feeling truely blessed...
the GI bill helped to pay for my fancy school and because of my service, the
school covered the rest, so free education thanks to uncle sam... |

I admire your daughter.
When i was a kid. I went to a public school, I even got free lunch ticket
since I was from a single parent family and my mother's annual salary is
less than 3x00.
I then went to one of the suckie public schools, had uncle sam paid for my
tuition. OH and student loan, too.
But I need to point out that my school is suckie like hell, always
struggling at the lower 40s. I am sure your daughter will grab one of the
ivyleague admissions.
I did manage to learn Piano at age of 17 and achieved level 3 equivalent
skill.
Chinese? I learned on my own, and now they call me big wet. So I think i am
not that bad
Japanese? I watched JDrama alot, now i can do some very broken conversation
shit. I read tons of useless books on Sengoku era.
Kendo? Oh fock that. I played KEnho on PS2 though.
Karate? Nice try btich
Ballet? @yanyue
You can bear the cost, bro, trust me.
I will simply tell my son to study hard and go to CAL, and be a true elite
like Uncle Lore
