a citizen. Not like a traditional country, which is more a less
defined by race/culture group. In that sense, I think it's
reasonable for sb to be both an american and a chinese. Although
chinese are still a minority in US, representing a minority culture,
things can conceivably change.
On the other hand, to me, it's unacceptable for smoebody
become Japan or Germany or Russia citizen. That's more
like treason, abandoning your own peop |
