are going for LLM instead of JD.
HLS has more than 80% foreign students in its LLM program (130 or so students
during my time). All American/Puerto Rican LLMs are tax LLMs. Back in 97,
there was a big uproar event on campus because no law firms were recruiting
foreign LLMs at all, and it was a boom year. Here is the reason. JD is seen as
a practioner's degree and foreign LLM an academic degree. A domestic tax LLM

LLM in International Taxation.

you just now -
Firstly, I'm not determined to settle down in US yet. However gloomy the
future market seems, to land a job in US is by no means my eventual purpose to
go for study at Harvard. If I could find one, fine; if not, there is no reason
to believe that I won't get a promising future elsewhere.
Secondly, tax is very different from other legal practice area. Actually most
tax consultants/advisors work at accountin
