The course instructor of Summer AP/IB Calculus course holds a PhD degree
with broad range of engineering and research project background. He has
years of teaching experiences in US colleges. This is a part of Student
Testimony: 'Very informative'; 'Really helpful teacher'; 'I like him. He
really wants to make sure all his students understand the topic.' Based on
your interest, we will organize a second "Meet the Instructor" open class
session.
This ten-week Summer AP/IB Calculus course only covers functions, limits,
and differentiation as listed in the AP® Calculus Course Description.
The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamental calculus
concepts and related mathematical skills necessary for students' success on
the Advanced Placement Exam. It is to be hoped that this short course will
inspire the next generation. Students are encouraged to ask questions during
the lecture and complete homework collaboratively. Team work skills are
essential to succeed in the industry.
