The XXII Olympic Winter Games opening ceremony in Sochi starts Friday
morning at 11 a.m. Eastern Time, but it won't be aired in the U.S. until
more than eight hours later thanks to NBC's tape-delay policies. They aren't
streaming it live online, either, so if you'd like to join the rest of the
world in watching the opening ceremony as it happens, we've prepared a few
options for you.
1. Download Tunnelbear, set it to the UK, and tune into BBC Two here. (Be
sure to pay your TV licence.)

2. A better and more reliable option might be to use VyprVPN. That's what we
use on a daily basis, and you can access BBC Two in the UK, CBC in Canada,
or numerous other countries' versions of the opening ceremony broadcast.
Since there's a three-day free trial, you can sign up and then cancel once
the opening ceremony is over (though you might find having a fast, reliable
VPN all over the world to be worth the $10 a month).
3. We don't endorse outright stealing television, but this is a pretty
reliable pirate feed of BBC Two.
